Illustrations For Articles
Here is the procedure Toon Outlet follows when illustrating magazine articles. First the publisher sends a copy of the article to be illustrated. The cartoonist then draws the illustration and submits it back to the publisher. If the publisher is not satisfied he may ask for revisions or reject the illustration. Some artists require a "kill fee" in these instances, but this is not the policy of Toon Outlet. Toon Outlet cartoonists will, of course, keep the article confidential until after it has been published.
